CRN Course Formats
Online Format (Standard Package)
Learn Medical Coding and Billing in the comfort of your own home!
This is not independent study where you are just sent a bunch of books and told "Best wishes." You have an organized program of study utilizing the best training tools and books available in addition to access to real instructors. You actually hear your instructor presenting each topic - this is not a read and study only program!
You are provided with a username and password to access our propriatory learning management system good for one year. There you will be presented with the following areas:
- Announcements
- Faculty Information
- Assignments
- Recorded Lectures (playble in Windows Media Player)
- Discussion Board
- Grade Book
- Test Your Knowledge
- Quizzes & Tests
- Unit Tests
Your textbook and workbook set will be mailed to you upon your registration. Once received or earlier if you prefer you will be scheduled for an orientation by phone with one of the CRN Instructor Coaches.
When you have questions you interface with your coach via e-mail. Brief questions can also be called in to the office.
Upon succesful completion of all modules (70%) you will be issued certificate of completion suitable for framing.
Classroom Format (Classroom Package)
We have classroom courses in Mays Landing New Jersey several times per year. Classes meet once per week for 4 hours. Many assignments and tests are taken online as a web-enabled course.
The CRN Institute is also subcontracted at many sites to teach their curriculum - call our office to see if we have a location near you. Some of our contract sites include:
